40 Hour Famine.

Giving up food for 40 hours was a decision that had to be made. Yes, it's very difficult for me right now, and anyone else giving up on it too. But hey, there are people in Africa, Somalia, India and any other third-world countries having to suffer from hunger, shelter, clean clothes, footwear and education. It kills me as to why our world couldn't be equal. I'm glad to have partaken in the 40 Hour Famine with everyone else!

This morning, my mum and I walked to Bass Hill Plaza so I could buy a packet of Barley Sugar, and MY GOSH it took me quite a while to find them! It was hidden under the gum section...
Right now, I'm eating barley sugar every 4 hours, drinking water and juice. Am I doing fine for a first-timer giving up on food? I think I am!

So far, I've had a few of my friends help me out, thank you! But I would like to say about two people, my sister(Amy) and her friend(Nhi), whom helped me out by donating $100 and $50! I was so thankful. How generous are they to have given such an amount of money towards  World Vision! To everyone doing the 40 Hour Famine, you guys are doing an amazing job!!

Maybe gravity has pushed us away from each other for a reason. Maybe we weren't meant to be "close" as we were before. Was meeting you an accident? Or vice versa? Only fate would know that, and that fate..chose us to be separable. Oh well, life goes on. I have to deal with it nonetheless. What am I kidding, I shouldn't be worried about this. Get a life Kim!

Affordable Community Housing.

Today was the most nerve-racking I've ever felt. I was interviewed with my dad by the ACH, and how awkward was it?! Having the lighting on you and a camera filming the whole interview. It was my first time to being in front of the camera for something like this. Now I know why some people don't like being shown on camera...the nerves start kicking in! There were times where I would have a massive mind-blank, stutter..it was embarrassing. But overall, it turned out fairly well! I was proud of myself and especially my dad for giving it his all got speaking English to the interviewer. Good job daddy. They were easy-going people(camera man, other workers from the ACH) that made us feel very comfortable in front on the camera...even if it was in our own home!
